Clinton Consistently Losing Ground
Here’s a chart that explains why the delegate math keeps getting harder for Clinton. With every contest Obama has managed to widen his lead over Clinton when you consider the remaining delegates needed to win a majority.
In the chart the left axis shows percentages assuming there will be no revote in Michigan and Florida. The right axis shows percentages assuming revotes will take place.
The chart implies a disconnect between reality and mainstream reporting. For example, the significance of Obama’s gains in Maine and Wyoming was understated as was Clinton’s loss of ground on March 4.
